TE Wilson

A graduate of McGill University, Tim worked as a publisher before joining IDC Canada in Toronto as a research analyst in 1997. In 2000, he began T Wilson Associates, consulting for research companies, as well as working directly with large vendors such as Microsoft and SAP. Throughout this period Tim contributed to the IT press, most notably as the features writer for Network World. Beginning in 2005 Tim established numerous standing contracts for content, data, and editorial services. For many years he has also specialized in healthcare technology, writing the Tech Tonic column for Rogers Health (now EnsembleIQ).

Tim has lived and worked in Latin America, and is proficient in Spanish. For his non-fiction writing he has received a first place CBC Literary Award and a Gold National Magazine Award. As well, he shared the Shapiro Award (graduating class) for creative writing at McGill University. As a journalist, he has reported from Mexico for the Globe & Mail, CBC, Toronto Star, InSight Crime, and Atlas Obscura

Writing as TE Wilson, Tim is also the author of the Detective Sánchez series of crime novels.
